Wicked Never Tasted So Sweet

Once a year, Marilyn turns her house into a witch’s paradise. But there’s something her guests don’t know: among all those witches, one of them is real.

Marilyn does not do tasteful Halloween.

She does witches.

Big witches. Little witches. Flying witches. Cackling witches. Witches hanging from trees, climbing the house, hiding in bushes, and dangling from places no respectable witch has any business dangling from.

The decorations begin at the street, continue up the driveway, take over the house, and eventually spill into the backyard. And every year, Marilyn invites a houseful of women to join her for what has become known as the Wild Witch Happy Hour.

There are hats. There are brooms. There are cocktails with suspicious names. There is always music—although nobody can actually hear it once several dozen women start talking at the same time.

And there are witches.

Lots and lots of witches.

Only one of them is real.

Marilyn.

Most of the year, Marilyn is perfectly content to keep her magic to herself. But when a charming man with a talent for telling women exactly what they want to hear wanders into her life, a little truth spell seems entirely reasonable.

Unfortunately, magic has a sense of humor.

Wicked Never Tasted So Sweet is a playful story about friendship, laughter, knowing your worth, refusing to disappear from your own story—and discovering that every girl may need a little Witch Marilyn now and then.
